Wild Hogs In DFW

The rural Texas problem of wild hogs is now showing up in urban north Texas.
The Texas Department of Agriculture is launching an education effort called: Get the Hog Outta Texas.  Tarrant County Judge Glenn Whitley says they can damage yards and they're turning up here.

The city of Southlake trapped 13 feral hogs this weekend.  The hogs are known to do major damage to lawns and flower gardens, and seem to defy capture.   The campaign includes efforts to trap the feral hogs.

State officials estimate the feral hog population is 2 million and growing.
