Why Jeremy Lin Isn't Wearing A Mavs Uniform
DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - At one point in the not so distant past, current NBA sensation Jeremy Lin was wearing a Dallas Mavericks uniform.
In 2010 he joined the Mavs for mini-camp as well as their NBA Summer League team in Las Vegas.
Donnie Nelson was the only General Manager that offered him an invitation to play in the Summer League. "Donnie took care of me," said Lin. "He has a different type of vision than most people do."
The Mavs, Lakers and Golden State all offered to sign him. He chose Golden State - and the rest is history...or is it?
