Whistle Blower Suing Dallas

A whistle-blower is suing Dallas  claiming it has collected millions of dollars in fraudulent Medicaid and Medicare claims.
Douglas Moore was an assistant auditor in Dallas until he says he noticed something fishy going on with the city's Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement claims.  Moore's lawyer, David Haron, says Moore found that all of Dallas fire and rescue ambulance calls were billed as requiring "advanced life support", which is much more expensive than the basic life support that is often needed for an ambulance call.  Haron said Moore told his bosses about this and within in two weeks he was fired.
Haron is also suing on behalf of the state and federal government for more than 42-million dollars in alleged over payments and damages.  Dallas has released a statement saying it is full cooperating with the federal review of its billing and is trying to figure out how much -- if anything -- it owes the state and the federal government.
