Warm Tomorrow, Not Tuesday
It was another pleasant Spring day across north Texas with highs topping out in the low 70's for the second day in a row. A little breezy and partly cloudy but fine weekend weather.
Lows tonight will be warmer than this morning, lows stay in the mid-50's:
Highs tomorrow will get into the upper 70's as the winds pick from the south in the afternoon.
A LITTLE RAIN, A LOT OF COLD
A strong cold front is going to arrive on Tuesday morning here in north Texas. Temperatures will start in the 60's that morning. It'll be in the low 50's by afternoon:
This front won't produce much in rainfall as it passes through. The better chance of rain will actually be that night and into Wednesday morning. We are expecting showers and weak thunderstorms in the colder air. The clouds should start to clear away by Wednesday late day:
We'll have typical highs on Monday but that'll be the last day of normal or above normal temperatures for the rest of the work week.
NEXT STORM THREAT: FRIDAY
A strong upper level low is going to sweep over the central plains on Friday. It might just be close enough to us to break the cap and let the dryline produce some strong storms. The coverage will likely be low but the storms would be strong.
After it passes we should have some warm weather for Saturday and Sunday. There is a small chance of storms on Saturday but it looks dry on Sunday.
