Veteran Fort Worth Police Mounted Patrol Horse 'Jake' Dies After Surgery
FORT WORTH, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - The Fort Worth Police Department is mourning one of its own.
Mounted patrol horse 'Jake' died from complications of surgery.
The department said, "Jake was more than horse. He was a veteran and a trusted partner. Rest in peace, we miss you."
