UTA Student Tweet Goes Viral After Switching Pants With Friend

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - University of Texas at Arlington student Andrew Nguyen got an odd favor request from his friend Diana Le Wednesday.

She was on her way to take a quiz in a lab and forgot she needed to wear pants to the lab for safety reasons.  She was in shorts.

So the pair traded pants and Nguyen tweeted a photo of himself in a bathroom wearing Le's shorts while she took her quiz in his sweatpants.

The tweet has been retweeted more than 129,000 times.

What a great friend!

"I thought if I'm doing a good deed for my friend I may as well get a few laughs out of it and then bam, it blew up," Nguyen told Buzz Feed News about his tweet.
