UIL Says QB For Southlake Carroll Ineligible To Play
- The UIL decided Tuesday afternoon Southlake Carroll quarterback Daxx Garman can not play football in Texas this year.The state executive committee with the UIL decided unanimously Garman is ineligible for this season. Garman's family had appealed a ruling made s ago. Last Spring Garman transferred to Carrol from Oklahoma , and the UIL believes he transferred here for athletic reasons. That is not allowed in Texas.
- According to Garman's family, they came here to be closer to relatives.
