Tyler Booker embraces Cowboys Nation, ready to end Super Bowl drought
As soon as Tyler Booker got off the bus at the Star, he was greeted by over a dozen media members and a surprise fitting for his customized size 15 cowboy boots.
"That added to the greatness of the day. I'll be rocking some around the facility soon," Booker said.
Booker's family attended his first official introductory press conference, and the former Alabama product continuously thanked them for their support.
The Connecticut native, who transitioned from IMG Academy to an eventual starter and captain at Alabama, is ready to help Cowboys Nation out of a drought.
"I definitely want to win a Super Bowl. Me just being drafted, I just have to take one day at a time. The best way I can help my team and help the Dallas Cowboys win a Super Bowl is authentically me," Booker said.
The passion Booker has for the game of football is what first-time head coach Brian Schottenheimer expressed he wanted since taking over. It was during Booker's 30 visit that Schottenheimer felt the connection.
"You guys have listened to him. It was authentic; it was real. His confidence, the way he carries himself, what you guys are witnessing right now, we shared an entire day basically," Schottenheimer said.
