Two Arrested For Stealing Thousands From TCU
TCU police credit their use of Craigslist and their own security video with the arrest of two suspects in some high-dollar thefts. 24-year old Umair Khan, and 21-year old Azim Ansari, a former UTA student are accused of stealing more than 100-thousand dollars worth of computers and musical instruments from TCU.
TCU police sergeant Kelly Hamm says they tracked down some of the items through Craigslist. It included a 29-thousand dollar bassoon. Ham says they regularly check Craigslist and e-bay for stolen items.
