Truck Slams Into 18-Wheeler In Fort Worth
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A man is in critical condition after his pickup truck crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler in far northwest Fort Worth. The incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. on the westbound side of the Jacksboro Highway, near Confederate Park Road.
According to officials with the Fort Worth Police Department and MedStar, the man was trapped in the wreckage for a lengthy period of time. He was transported by air ambulance to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
A traffic investigator was called to the scene, but officials have not yet said what may have caused the man's pickup truck to run into the back of the 18-wheeler.
