Trending: Apple Addresses Privacy, Miranda Lambert Gets Emotional, Tom Brady's Resume

APPLE ADDRESSES PRIVACY

Apple's new iPhones go on sale tomorrow. Ahead of that, the company wants to reassure customers the information they load onto those devices will stay safe.

Apple CEO Tim Cook penned a letter to customers about privacy and it's posted on the company website.

This comes just a couple of weeks after nude pictures of celebrities were stolen from iCloud and posted on the internet.

In the opening paragraph he writes, "We respect your privacy and protect it with strong encryption" and strict policies.

He goes on to say Apple's business does not depend on advertising or sharing information like other internet service companies, taking a swipe at sites like Google and Facebook.

He closes by saying, "Finally, I want to be absolutely clear that we have never worked with any government agency from any country to create a backdoor in any of our products or services. We have also never allowed access to our servers. And we never will."

MIRANDA LAMBERT GETS EMOTIONAL

Video of a country superstar getting choked up while performing for a Texas crowd is going viral.

It was one fan in particular at Miranda Lambert's Corpus Christi concert that made her emotional.

While performing "Over You," Saturday night, Miranda reached out into the crowd and held the hand of 7-year-old Brooke Hester.

Brooke is battling Stage 4 cancer.

Miranda was so moved, she couldn't finish singing and put the microphone out toward the crowd.

The little girl later told her mom, "Mommy, this is the best night ever!"

TOM BRADY'S RESUME

A star quarterback's Facebook post on this Throwback Thursday shows it's always important to be prepared.

Tom Brady has won three Super Bowls, two Super Bowl MVP titles, and he has a supermodel wife. Life has turned out pretty good for him.

But once upon a time when he put together this resume, he didn't know how this football thing was going to work out.

Tom posted this picture on his Facebook page, and wrote, "Found my old resume! Really thought I was going to need this after the 5th round. #tbt"
