Rain Chances Look Better Later This Week

Hot and muggy weather will continue thru the rest of the week.  But rain chances will be on the increase for Friday and Saturday.

TONIGHT

Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with lows in the mid to upper 70s.  Winds out of the southeast 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY

Mostly sunny and guess what?  Muggy again!  An isolated shower/storm will be possible in the afternoon.  But rain chance is low at 10%.

RAIN CHANCES FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY

There is an area of low pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere in the northern Gulf of Mexico.  Tropical moisture is flowing into Texas as this low drifts to the west.  There is another upper level low out west.  The low out west will be the one that brings us the rain chances.  But the low coming in from the Gulf will bring the moisture to allow those storms to develop.

RAIN CHANCES WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY - mostly dry with just a very isolated shower/storm possible.

RAIN CHANCES FRIDAY - showers and storms will be possible.  This could impact high school football games.

RAIN CHANCES SATURDAY - showers and storms will again be possible
