NEW YORK (CBSDFW.COM/CNET) - Senior citizen action figures -- you bet! The beloved '80s sitcom "Golden Girls" may not be on TV anymore, but you can still welcome the sassy seniors into your home.
Retirees Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia are now available as posable vinyl figures, standing 3.75 inches tall and ready for action. The set from Funko includes all four silver-haired roommates played by featuring Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty.
They're making the the kind of bold, retro fashion choices that even superheroes would be jealous of. I'd like to see Batman pull off Blanche's bold red pantsuit. Rose is in a pretty pink dress, while Dorothy wears her usual pants and patterned cardigan. Sophia might be wearing an almost-sexy blue dress, but she comes armed with a purse she can use to smack some sense into anyone who needs it.
Funko debuted the action figures at New York's Comic Con this week. Until now you could only get the Funko Pop! Golden Girls figurines individually, but the silver haired action figures, including all four characters, are sold in one pack.
If you can't make it to New York for Comic Con don't worry, the figurines of the four older women in Miami will eventually be available exclusively online at Target.
