Texas Republicans Move to Secure Statehouse

Republicans have been saying for months that they were going to take a lot of seats back in the Texas House come November and now have a poll that gives them even more hope to doing that.  It's a generic Republican vs. Democrat statehouse race that gives Republicans a 22 point edge.  Meantime State Republican Party Chair Steve Munisteri says the party has over two thousand volunteers ready to help other candidates all over the state as well.  "We're moving very rapidly for the Republican Party to be a factor in these elections."  He says in the coming days the party will also announce six specific races that it's targeting to win away from Democrats in November.
