Temps Turning Cooler Saturday

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - After a very enjoyable, mild Friday, temperatures will start dropping again Saturday behind a cold front.  The front should be moving through the DFW Metro area by late morning.  We will see temperatures rise to the lower to mid 60s before the front pulls through.  By afternoon, a gusty north wind will blow and temps should be falling into the 50s.  Conditions will remain too dry for any precipitation.

We'll see a chilly start to the week.  More of the Arctic air will ooze into North Texas during the day into the start of the work week.  Temperatures each afternoon, Sunday-Tuesday, will struggle to get out of the 40s.  Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy.  The biggest push of the really cold air will be off to our northeast, into the Midwest & NE United States.

We will have a slight chance of precipitation next Tuesday.  We're still watching a fairly weak upper level disturbance that should cross into the area from northwest to southeast Tuesday morning.  Temps should be just at or actually above freezing, so we're not looking for much, if any at all, wintry precip.  In fact, the atmosphere will remain fairly dry throughout next week…so the amount of any rain will be quite low, maybe a few sprinkles.
