Stolen Guitar

There's nothing more precious to a musician than his instruments. So when a thief broke into Cody Sevier's home and stole all of his band equipment...there was one piece that meant more than any of it. It was a Gibson Gothic Explorer guitar that once belonged to his best friend, Derek Day, who died at the age of 18 in a car accident in 2004. Cody told CBS 11 it was more than just a guitar... it was a part of him. Derek's sister, Destiny DeLarosa is heartbroken as well. She says it was the essence of her brother.
