Starting August With Below-Normal Temps
We had some remarkable rainfall across the northern and northeastern parts of North Texas early this morning as an upper level system rolled through. The sharp demarcation of who got a lot of rain and who didn't is incredible.
Our Weather Watchers who live in Collin, Cooke and Denton counties reported several inches of rainfall this morning, which did lead to flash flooding is some spots.
Friday's forecast is dry but still cool. It's been in the 70s most of the afternoon today, but we should get into the 80s Friday afternoon, which is still below normal for this time of year.
There will be a slow warm-up into the weekend and next week, with no more rain during the next 7 days.
