LAKE HIGHLANDS (CBSDFW.COM) — Dallas recently gained a new restaurant and St. Vincent scored a side-gig as a waitress in one fell swoop, though the latter lasted just a few days.

Resident Taqueria confirmed indie-rock artist Annie Clark, known as St. Vincent, has been delivering tacos to tables and refilling napkin dispensers there over the past few days. The restaurant, owned by Clark's sister and brother-in-law, opened Thursday.

But Clark flew out of Dallas on Sunday, effectively ending her stint as a Resident Taqueria waitress for the time being.

St. Vincent fans have been relaying stories of encountering Clark at the restaurant on social media, according to Pitchfork and Stereogum.
