Missing Burleson Man Found Safe After 'Silver Alert'
BURLESON (CBSDFW.COM) - Law enforcement officials have found an elderly Johnson County man who had been reported missing.
A Silver Alert was issued for Freddy Johnson. He had last been seen around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the 400 block of Rand Street in Burleson. His family was particularly concerned since the 73-year-old is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease.
The man's pickup truck -- a red 2002 Ford F-250 -- reportedly broke down in Comanche County. A deputy stopped to assist him and realized that he was the person from the Silver Alert. Johnson is in good condition.
