Rowlett Woman Found Dead In Home, Police Investigating As Homicide

ROWLETT (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are investigating the death of a Rowlett woman whose body was found in her home.

Rowlett Police are investigating the death as a homicide. They say they have not made any arrests and are searching the neighborhood for the person responsible.

The victim, who has not been identified, was a volunteer at the police station. Officers say the death hits too close to home and they are incredibly saddened.

Rowlett Police tell us they're still trying to notify all family involved. They say the victim had three kids who now are being watched by a relative. Her husband right now is speaking with police.
