ARLINGTON (105.3 THE FAN) - The Texas Rangers have activated third baseman Adrian Beltre from the 15-day disabled list for the start of the Rangers series against the Oakland A's Tuesday night.

Beltre is slated to be 4th in the Rangers lineup after taking a full round of batting practice today at Globe Life Park.

To make room on the roster, Jon Edwards has been optioned to Triple-A Round Rock.
