Rancher Lassos Bull After Hot Police Pursuit

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Arlington police chased down a bull yesterday after it ran through the streets with officers in hot pursuit. Then a rancher from Dalthworthington Garden jumped on his horse, and assisted police by lassoing the bull.

The call came in at 4:45 p.m. reporting the bull was loose next to the roadway near Little Road and Arkansas Lane near Veteran's Park.

The whole ordeal lasted four hours. Police said the bull wasn't aggressive, and officers were able to warn traffic and pedestrians as the he roamed the streets.
