Rain Chances Going Up into Easter
We've had a dreary, drizzly day in North Texas as a weak upper level disturbance passes overhead. There will be in ongoing chance of on & off showers throughout the rest of the evening. Rainfall amounts will very light.
We'll get a break in the rain for Friday. Sunshine will return in the afternoon as high pressure builds in. We are keeping an eye on an upper level low pressure system off the coast of California. This is forecast to move our way over the weekend to bring a chance of rain for North Texas.
There will be a slight chance of showers or thunderstorms as early as Saturday night, especially west of the DFW area.
The best chance of rain will be during the day on Easter Sunday. Right now, it doesn't look like a constant rain all day, but there will be a few showers and storms around. Severe weather risk appears rather low, thankfully.
Overall, Easter will be mostly cloudy, warm and humid...with that chance of rain.
There will be a few lingering showers Monday, then we really see the temperatures take off for next week. First 90° day possible next week!
