Purdue Rolls To Easy Win Over Saint Peter's
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - E'Twaun Moore scored 19 points, JaJuan Johnson had 16 and Purdue opened the NCAA Tournament with an easy 65-43 victory over Saint Peter's.
Lewis Jackson added 12 points for the third-seeded Boilermakers (26-7), who won their 13th straight NCAA Tournament-opener and advanced to face the winner of Friday's nightcap at the United Center between Georgetown and VCU in the Southwest Region.
Jeron Belin scored 12 points to lead overmatched Saint Peter's (20-14), the MAAC Tournament champion.
