Pope Francis Appoints New Bishop For The Diocese Of Dallas

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Pope Francis has reportedly named Edward J. Burns to serve as the new Bishop of the Diocese of Dallas.
The 59-year old Burns succeeds Cardinal Kevin Farrell, who left Dallas for Rome in October.
Burns has recently served as the Bishop of the Diocese of Juneau, Alaska.
