Police Issue Silver Alert For Missing 83-Year-Old Man

KILLEEN (CBSDFW.COM) - A Silver Alert has been issued for an 83-year-old Texas man who went missing on Monday.

Officials with the Killeen Police Department are searching for Ivry Johnson. The elderly man has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment, and officials say he disappearance poses a threat to his own health and safety.

Johnson was last seen yesterday morning in Belton, Texas. At the time he was driving a black, 2008 Pontiac G6, like the one pictured above. The Texas license plate on the car is CD3-T938.

Johnson is an African American man who stands 5'10" and weighs about 150 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes, when last seen was wearing a Dallas Cowboys ball cap, a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
