Opening Day: Warm & Breezy
By afternoon highs will reach up to around 80° as breezy south winds pump up the humidity. We expect some storms this afternoon in north Texas but they should stay well to the north of the Global Life Park:
We have an active dry line over the next couple of days; as it draws closer to us on tomorrow we should see strong storms develop in our western counties:
These storms have the potential to be severe; isolated tornadoes are even possible:
A massive storm system off the west coast is going to increase out storm chances later this week as it moves onshore and into the Central Plains:
Storms on Wednesday and Thursday will be more wide-spread over north Texas with the greater risk of severe weather on Thursday.
Its going to be warm and breezy to start April. A cold front comes through on Friday; we'll have dry and cooler weather for the weekend along with some rain chances:
