Officer Shoots At Driver Who Tried To Run Him Over

A Fort Worth Police Officer fired at a man with an outstanding sexual assault warrant after he was pulled over because his SUV matched one involved earlier in a gang-related shootout. The patrolman opened fire when the driver rammed his patrol car and tried to run him down. Investigators counted seven rounds fired from the officer's pistol, but the suspect was not wounded. However, they tracked him down about four hours later and he was arrested without further incident. The officer was not hurt.
