NRH Man Found Guilty Of Aggravated Assault On Son

TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) Brent Bartel has been found guilty of aggravated assault for carving pentagram on the back of his then six-year-old son with a box cutter at their North Richland Hills home.
Deliberations on punishment will begin Friday.
The little boy survived the 2012 incident.
Bartel had been found incompetent to stand trial; but last year, after treatments at several state hospitals, he was finally found competent.
According to documents obtained by ta North Texas newspaper, Bartel said he was called by spirits to give them a blood offering to God for his wife's infidelity.
