WACO (AP) - Baylor has added top recruit Lauren Cox among three players picked up during the early signing period.
Cox, a 6-foot-4 forward, signed Wednesday, along with guards Natalie Chou and Calveion Landrum. All three are from Texas.
Cox averaged 21.7 points, 15.3 rebounds and 5.4 blocks a game as a junior last season at Flower Mound High School. ESPN HoopGurlz and All Star Girls Report both list the Gatorade Texas Player of the Year as the nation's top recruit.
The 6-1 Chou is ranked by HoopGurlz as the No. 2 shooting guard. She averaged 22 points a game as a junior last season at Plano West High.
Landrum is a 5-9 point guard from LaVega High in Waco, just a few miles from the Baylor campus.
