CHILL TO THE AIR THIS MORNING
We had temperatures bottom out in the upper 40's inside the metro area this morning, the chilliest morning since in almost a month. Ample sunshine turned those temperatures up to the low 70's and produced a remarkable Saturday albeit with a brisk north wind.
WEAK COLD FRONT ARRIVES TOMORROW
We'll awake tomorrow morning with lows in the low 50's and mostly clear skies. A few clouds around as a weak cold front arrives late morning. This will bring in a brisk north wind by noon thru afternoon, 15-20mph. Still very nice with mostly sunny skies and highs getting near 80°. Very nice for the last day of the Main Street Arts Festival.
NEXT WEEK: NOT MUCH WEATHER
We are moving through the heart of our severe weather season but no hint of that this week coming up. Morning clouds on Monday then clearing, highs in the low 70's. Upper 70's and breezy by afternoon on Tuesday. Windy on Wednesday and mid-80's. Some clouds on Thursday and again in the mid-80's. Friday we'll include a small chance of rain/storms, highs in the mid-80's despite the cloud cover.
Below is the amount of rain predicted to fall in our area over the next five days. Nothing for north Texas:
