Nice Saturday. Not So Nice Sunday
Today it reached 61° at DFW Airport, the warmest day we've had in two weeks. We'll have to wait till Wednesday however to enjoy warmer weather.
Don't forget to spring those clocks ahead an hour before you go to bed tonight. Daylight runs deeper by increments into the evening tomorrow and all the way to late June:
Don't get spoiled after three days of ample sunshine. The clouds returned late today; they'll be around for the next three bringing a cold rain with it. Rain chances are good:
Temperatures are low... but not in that "winter precip" range!
How much rain is ahead? It could be a VERY good rain for the southeast counties, maybe over 2" total by the time we get to Tuesday morning. For the Metroplex it'll be more likely an inch or so. Nice to talk about a good rain in a 5-year drought:
For most of the Metroplex tomorrow will have only occasional light rain. Most of the rain tomorrow will be across the south and southeast areas of north Texas. The first round of heavy rain comes in at the end of the day or evening.
It looks like a soaking rain on Monday, a wet commute in both directions (morning and evening). Tuesday morning rain will give way to just cloudy skies. By the end of the week temperatures will be higher and the ground drier:
