DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Rookie DeMarco Murray was not the starting running back for the Dallas Cowboys when they hosted the St. Louis Rams in 2011. But he was the best.

Although the Cowboys sent running back Tashard Choice out first, Murray needed only one carry to become the main option. That one carry was a 91-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

When the day ended, Murray ran for a Cowboys team record of 253 yards, leading Dallas to a 34-7 victory over the Rams.
