DALLAS (CBS11 SPORTS) - In her 4th year as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Jacie has several titles, but lazy is not one of them. She is a full-time fitness instructor at a studio that focuses on the bar workout.
Teaching a class that involves a combination of ballet and yoga, holding onto a bar and raising and lowering your leg, is simple until you see her students' legs twitching.
Jacie admits that when she first tried the workout as a student, she vowed to never return.
But like her entire life, Jacie says it is mind over matter. During her college days, Jacie cheered at LSU and graduated with a degree in journalism.
She is also a freelance writer, having published several articles. The biggest motivation that keeps her busy life going is her late mother, who passed from pancreatic cancer six years ago. Jacie has started a go fund me page to battle the disease and honor her late mother's legacy.
Last but not least, she has been voted one of the top ten most beautiful women in Dallas by D magazine. Humbled by the honor, when asked if she walks around saying "I'm beautiful, I'm beautiful, she laughs and answers "No."
Jacie is a remarkable woman reaching her own goals and helping others reach theirs at a studio that's been around 15 years. Another example of a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader who has many layers to her life once she puts down the pom poms.
