Police Investigating Near-Drowning Incident In Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — MedStar responded to help an adult man who nearly drowned in Fort Worth Saturday afternoon, according to a spokesman.

The man went swimming in a pool in the 6800 block of Glen Meadow Dr. and went under, according to the MedStar spokesman. The man has been taken to Harris Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

Temperatures in Fort Worth in the afternoon were in the mid 40s, while parts of Texas north of the city experienced light snow.

Fort Worth police say the incident is being investigated as an accident.
