'Liberty On The Lake' In The Colony
THE COLONY (KRLD) -- The Colony sits on the eastern shores of Lewisville Lake, so it's only natural that one of the town's biggest events is Liberty on the Lake each July 4th.

The city also sponsors a Daddy-Daughter dance which has become so popular there are now three dances during the day. This year's dance is Saturday at the Cascades Events Center.
