Lancaster Party Ends With Fight & Gunfire

LANCASTER (CBSDFW.COM) - A party at a dude ranch in Lancaster ended with a fight and gunfire early Monday. The incident happened just after midnight, and ended up at a Whataburger restaurant near the intersection of Houston School Road and Interstate-20.
According to police, there were as many as 150 people involved in the disturbance.
Officials have not said what started the fight, but authorities believe that alcohol played a role. The disagreement finally moved to a Whataburger location that shares property with a gas station.
Police officers from Lancaster and Dallas helped quell the violence. At least six people were detained. But, despite shots being fired, there were no reports of injuries.
