Man arrested after allegedly firing gun during North Texas road‑rage incident, police say

Police arrested a North Texas man on Tuesday after he allegedly fired a gun during a road‑rage incident on Lake Worth Boulevard and pointed the weapon at witnesses, authorities said.

Steven Reeves, 35, of Lakeside, faces four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as well as charges of deadly conduct, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a dangerous drug, according to the Lake Worth Police Department.

The alleged road‑rage incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 6200 block of Lake Worth Boulevard, police said.

Reeves is accused of producing a firearm, pointing it at witnesses, and firing into the air, according to police.

No injuries or property damage were reported, authorities said.
