DALLAS (CBS11) - A Dallas high school football standout finds himself facing a sex assault claim, involving a fellow student.

LaQuantis Davis plays for Lake Highlands High in Richardson ISD.

The 18-year-old was also the focus of a program that mentored boys without fathers in their lives.

Dallas police say they arrested Davis after he allegedly admitted to sexually assaulting his girlfriend.

An arrest affidavit indicates Davis and a 15-year-old student were dating and sexually active, but he forced her to have sex on one occasion.

He's being held on a $100,000 bond.
