Kick off the weekend at Gexa tonight and prepare to be there tomorrow night and Saturday night as well. Tonight it is Incubus/Deftones Gexa Thursday August 20.

Stay cool this weekend at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden with August Dollar Days. The garden will offer $1 general garden admission and $2 Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden admission to all guests during August. There will also be select $1 and $2 food items throughout the gardens. The Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden has more than 8,000 square feet of misting throughout the entire eight-acre garden, so there are cool places throughout to beat the heat. Plus, the theme of this garden is water, so there are plenty of areas with water including the waterfall and entry area with fountains.
Blast your way into the weekend tomorrow night at the Grapevine Summer Blast Friday Fireworks Friday August 14.
Head to Fort Worth for the Bellamy Brothers- Billy Bob's Friday August 21.
Weird Al Yankovic plays the Verizon Friday August 21.

You need to hurry over to the Dallas Zoo for the Giants of the Jurassic before the event is over. The zoo is launching a half-price summer special so everyone can catch them before they go extinct. Admission is 50% off through Aug. 31.
It is a north Texas tradition and it kicks off this weekend. Check out the North Texas Fair and Rodeo in Denton Friday August 21-29. They'll have Rodeos, Livestock show, carnival and concerts which include Ronnie Milsap, Randy Rogers Band and the Charlie Daniels Band.
