July Weather Outlook for DFW, Plus Record Lows Possible Tonight!
What a wonderful start to July! Very comfortable temperatures today. In fact, temperatures dropped into the 60s this morning at DFW. This is the first time we have seen temperatures in the 60s during the month of July since 2009!
CLOSE TO RECORD LOWS TONIGHT
Tonight with clear skies, dry air and light NE winds, temperatures will drop into the mid 60s. The record low for tomorrow morning is 65 degrees. I've got a forecast low for DFW of 66. What's interesting is that looking at the July record books... there hasn't been a record low set in the month of July since 1994!
Before I get into the outlook for July, I wanted to show you how June 2013 played out. The average June temperature was 82.6 degrees. That is 1.3 degrees above average. But this June has been the coolest June since 2007.
