How Much Rain We See Friday In North Texas
Who is ready for some sunshine? After such a dreary, cold day, I think everyone is ready to see the sun again.
Not much sunshine until we get to the weekend.
The drizzle and light rain will continue thru the evening and overnight. We will wake up tomorrow morning with some spotty drizzle. But the light rain will shift east of Dallas during the mid morning and areas west of the I-35W corridor will be mainly dry through the day on Thursday.
Friday is the day where we have heavy rain and even a few isolated thunderstorms possible.
A stronger disturbance over the Pacific Northwest will arrive Friday.
Rain chances will be 70% on Friday with the bulk of the rain coming in the early afternoon hours for DFW.
Most areas are looking at .50" to 1" of rain. Here's a rainfall estimate map.
