Hottest Day of the Year So Far for DFW, But Cold Fronts Are Coming
Today has been the hottest day of 2014 so far! We made it to 82 degrees at DFW. That is the warmest temperature since Nov. 17th. That is 93 days if you are counting.
TONIGHT
Clouds will increase later tonight and patchy fog and drizzle will be possible. Here's a look at tonight's low temperatures. Very mild.
TOMORROW
After the patchy fog and drizzle ends early, we will see partly sunny skies and temps in the upper 70s.
TWO COLD FRONTS
There are two cold fronts that will impact our weather. The first will slide in tomorrow and bring us a very small chance of a shower mainly NE of Dallas.
The second which is currently moving into the Pacific Northwest will arrive on Thursday. This front will only bring small rain chances mainly east of Dallas, but it will increase the fire danger as gusty west winds to 40 mph develop behind the front.
FIRE WEATHER WATCH
This is in effect for Thursday as winds behind the front gust to 40 mph.
RAIN CHANCES
Rain chances are very low with these two fronts. Here's a look at the maps.
