Cowboy Kool-Aid Edition
Jason Garrett announced today that Marion Barber would be fined for violating the teams new dress code. Barber is a Captain and one of the leaders on this team, but showed up for the team flight to New York in Jeans and without a tie. This is in violation of Garrett's new policy.
After the game Garrett said that Barber didn't break any team rules, however today at his Monday press conference, he admitted that Barber would be fined. The new Cowboy's Head Coach also strongly indicated that team discipline would be handled behind closed doors. Is this an acceptable policy?
Wasn't it Cowboy fan who complained for the better part of three years that Wade Phillips didn't hold his players accountable, didn't you scream that Wade was too soft on his players and they didn't respect him as the Head Coach? How is this situation with Marion Barber any different? Does Garrett need to explain his discipline of Barber further or are you drinking the Cowboy kool-aid?
I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comment section.
