Homeless Man Struck, Killed By Car Near Stockyards Station

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — A homeless man was struck and killed by a driver Saturday night near Fort Worth's Stockyards Station.

Around 9:41 p.m. June 29, officers responded to 400 NW 28th St. to an auto-pedestrian accident.

Police said the man stepped off a median into traffic where he was struck.

He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver stayed at the scene and no charges were filed.
