Weather Overview:
Most rain yesterday was confined to the region from Montague to Eastland counties and it looks like that may be it for a while. Isolated storms are again possible today near Abilene and San Angelo, but I would be surprised if they made it into our area. However, there may be a breakdown in the upper ridge (and a slow-moving front arriving) by late-weekend to break the consecutive 100° streak and bring a chance of rain.
Yesterdays highs: DFW & Meacham 100°, Love & Denton 101°, McKinney & Arlington 99° (by comparison it was 110 ° at Death Valley yesterday) We should tack on a couple of degrees the next few days, so I see no reason the heat advisory won't run all week, but for now they seem to be issuing it day-by-day...currently expires tomorrow evening.
