Has The Rain Helped North Texas Lakes?

UPDATED LIST AT 9:30PM

Area lakes have gone up some with the rain.  Below is my spreadsheet of all the lakes in North Texas.  Most lakes went up 1" to 2".  Lake Arlington has been the big winner up over 7" so far.  That is pretty common when we have rain like this.  There is a lot of concrete around Lake Arlington so any rain that falls quickly runs off into the lake.  In other basins, the rain has a chance to absorb into the ground and not run off as much.

Be sure to catch my forecast coming up on CBS 11 News at 10pm.  I'll have the latest on when the rain ends and the possibilities of seeing snowflakes tonight.
