Governor Happy with Alex Response
Governor Perry says it looks like Texas weathered the storm pretty well. Governor Perry is please with the response to Hurricane Alex although he says there are still some spots to be worried about. "We have a special concern about the colonias. A lot of those are in low lying areas." The Governor says even with the storm passing people should continue to listen to local officials for any warnings they might have since the flooding threat doesn't necessarily end when the rain does.
