Go Purple For Pancreas!

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- Methodist Dallas Medical Center will be hosting an event on Tuesday to honor patients, survivors and medical professionals who have battled pancreatic disease.

The event, called "Go Purple for Pancreas", will showcase some of the efforts at Methodist Dallas.

A "Wall of Inspiration" will be constructed with purple ribbons to honor those who have fought pancreatic disease. Anyone can join. Ribbons will be provided.

"It's good for the patients and their families, but also it's good for the staff to build that camaraderie and celebrate some of those successes," said Dr. Paul Tarnasky, Medical Director of the Methodist Digestive Institute.
