Fort Worth Couple To Attend Papal Mass In Juarez

EL PASO (CBS11) - Thousands of Texans will head into Juarez, Mexico Wednesday to see Pope Francis' mass in person.
Among the crowd will be a Fort Worth couple who got late word Tuesday they would get to go.
"We left Fort Worth at 1:30 p.m. and then at 4:30 p.m. we received the text that we had gotten tickets," says Josie Castillo.
Castillo and her husband, Pete were headed to UTEP's Sun Bowl to watch the simulcast of the papal mass when their plans abruptly changed for the better.
"This is something special," says Pete Castillo. "The Pope is a messenger of Christ."
The Castillos have been married for 44 years and this will be the third Pope they get to see in person.
"We saw Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict and now Pope Francis," says Pete Castillo.
The stage in Juarez is set for the mass. The ramp the Pope will use to walk up to the border and bless Texas is also ready and just feet away from it all will be the Castillos from Fort Worth.
Josie says what she's looking forward to the most is, "the unity of celebrating the holy Eucharist all together and the final blessing for all of us."
Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings will also be at the mass Wednesday.
